Tour Sillustani

We can visit SILLUSTANI in the afternoon (located 35 km from Puno city-40 minutes by bus) we will pick you up from your hotel in Puno at 2 pm, Then we will catch the bus, this tour lasts 3 ½ hours.

After arriving the Archaelogical complex, we begin a soft trek (30 minutes) to see the different chullpas or Funeral towers that rise up to 12 meters high and belongs to pre-inca and inca cultures. These towers are located on a small península surrounded by the UMAYO LAGOON where we can appreciate its natural beauty as well as architecture and engineering of the time.

Finally we return to Puno, but if the group want can stop on the road to appreciate a farmhouse (to know how t olive the Andean people).

Especially near the tower or chullpas of the lizard was found the royal trousseau of a nobleman with more tan 500 pieces of gold, these pieces are exhibited in the Carlos Dreyer Museum in the city of Puno.

Note: This visit can be made on the route to the airport or from Juliaca airport to Puno, the departure time depends on the flight Schedule.
