Description
We begin this wonderful adventure Kayaking on Uros floating islands and Amantani (1D) with pickup and transfer from your hotel in Puno to the Esteves Island at about 7:00 AM, where we will receive all instructions and professional kayak equipment necessary to make appropriate use of the kayak, then we will go sailing on kayak toward Uros floating island, paddling for approximately 1 hour.
At all times we will be accompanied by a professional instructor security and a motorized boat for support.
During the journey we will appreciate the biodiversity of Lake Titicaca (Flora and Fauna), we will see and play the totota reed that is the raw material of the existence of Uros floating islands, see also a rocky island and the most beautiful views of the lake Titicaca. Finally we arrive at the Uros, where local people will give us a warm welcome and our guide will give us a full explanation this fascinating Culture. after our tour on Uros floating islands we will take our motorboat to take us to Amantani Island, we will go to a house of a family where we will have lunch.
ITINERARY
-Pickup and transfer from your Puno hotel to kayak dock. 7:00 AM
-At Kayak point departure your guide provides basic instructions. 7:15 AM
-We’re paddling to Uros islands through Uros landscapes.Guide explanations about Uros life, history, island buildings while paddling. 7:30 AM
-Free time for riding reed boat (optional if we arrive on time). 8:30 AM
-Going by motor boat to Amantani island 9:10 AM
-Arrival and walk up to top of Amantani Island. 11:00 AM
-Have lunch in a Traditional local tourist restaurant on Amantani. 12:30 PM
-Arrival to Puno port and private transfer to downtown. 3:40 PM
-Drop off by your hotel. 4:15 PM.
