Aut of the Tourist trap +Taquile island

We’re going to kayak from Southern Puno (Chimu) to Uros island,and we will have lunch on TITICACALUXURY LODGE, where we’ll also do local activities and spend the night with a beautiful sunset.

Next day adventure go to Taquile island by a fast boat, when you arrival learn about its art textile and have lunch at local restaurant.

After we will depart toward Puno by motor boat  or have a final paddle from Uros to Puno shore on the way back.

1 DAY UROS HOMESTAY + KAYAK

-Paddling Distance: 20 km from Chimu and go by Torani pata way

-Tour Route: South Puno /uros lodge/Taquile/Uros/Puno

2 DAY FAST BOAT FROM UROS TO TAQUILE ISLAND

-Boat departure: 9:30 am from uros to Taquile island

-Boat arrival to Uros: 3:00 pm aprox

-Final paddle from Uros to Puno: 5km

-Arrival Time to Puno: 5:00 pm

DESCRIPTION

DAY 1: Kayak from Southern Puno To Uros island and overnight

Our driver Vacilio Picks you up from your Hotel in Puno then drive you to Chimu community.

Here, after 15 min arrive to the kayak port and you will have a briefing from kayak guide we receive the appropriate equipment and embark on our two hour kayaking to Uros reed islands passing through scenic landscape and we will see the chucuito and Capachica Peninsulas.

we are going through beautiful place to TITICACA ISLAND Chimu, out of the tourist trail, spend two hour to enjoy the surroundings.

Later, we will go where there are 95 floating islands through a water channel.

After the exploration we are arriving to TITICACA LUXURY LODGE FOR LUNCH, local activities and the homestay.

Lunch on uros is based on grilled trout or chichen accompanied with quinoa rice, potatoes and vegetables and hot drinks.

In the afternoon local people is taking us to teach us how they cut the reeds for building of their islands and maintenance. sunset and have a dinner.

Day 2 Fast boat to Taquile +Puno Paddle

This day, you will have breakfast, and our host Maria is taking us to where the fast boat is waiting foe us.

In this boat group, you will go with other tour guide who will explain history and some clue facts about Taquile island

The fast boat will take 1h20 min. on Taquile you will learn about textile tradition and have lanch

On the way back to Puno we will be waiting for you in uros island with kayaks and paddle again but this time we will take a different route. This means this kayak tour covers the most scenic sceneries in lake Titicaca.

At the end of the day we will back by kayak to Isla esteves and our driver Vacilio is waiting for us.
